Finally cleared CCNA after months of preparation.....
i would like to thank Vijay Lala for this site and also to all the members who actively take part in the discussion as well as solving queries...
I have been member of many sites but i find this site more helpful than others....

Exam tips to all the wannabes:
Mine was a 2 hr 53 ques exam which i completed in 30 min..... i was asked ACL and VTP sims... However in ACL, this time it was Host B that should be allowed access to web server and not Host C... So all the wannabe pls read the sims carefull before attempting...
In VTP sims, i made a terrible mistake... like a fool i just pressed Next button hoping that there would be next VTP sim question, and to my shock i just let VTP Sim go.....

So particularly in VTP Sim, make sure u read all the instructions carefully and hope u dont end like me..... :)

Rest everything straight frm dump.... I think this enough for the CCNA aspirants.. if still u have any doubt...feel free to ask .....

Also to all the seniors out there, i would like to know wht all options are there after CCNA.... CCNP/CCIP.................

Any suggestions in this matter will be highly appreciated.......:D

I fail just short of 10 marks. I read all acl sim but I asked for NAT sim. DO you have any question like this. Please send me all acl and vtp sims so that I can do on my next exam as I appear on this month's 27

Congrats to Ciby David, that’s fantastic news… & what a score :).

Sorry for stealing your thread but I just want to say I also passed my 640-801 on 30/09/07 with a score of 885, not as high as some peoples but a pass is a pass never the less .

Have got to say, this is the best forum I have used with a fantastic community of people all willing to help each other in order to succeed their goals and targets (this was a work based/personal goal for me, a massive weight has been taken off my shoulders).

:D So thank you people of this forum & more importantly a big thanks to VIJAYLALA all of your input was highly appreciated :D.

The Exam was 53 questions, 3 questions that I have not seen before in P4S; apologies as I could not remember it as they were at the start of the exam.

Now the Questions… ones everyone has seen before…

Sims:
I had the ACL question to complete with the statements to allow host B to communicate with the finance web server (IP’s have changed from study guide) so keep your eyes peeled.
I had the VTP question, wasn’t really sure about the answer… only had one question regarding this, understand it before you go in, don’t just hope that the info on here is correct, know how to answer as it could be a make or break question.

Drag n Drop:
Same as P4S, the one with the commands relating to their function and the ACL drag n drop question.

Diagrams:
One of the frame regarding to the telnet packet.

The exam is simple if you are very clear with your concepts....
You can easily pass the exam without going for concepts, with the help of Pass4Sure & TestInside dumps..
Quetions are from these dumps.... so if you are good at cramming things then go for these.... it will take take one week to complete with 2 hrs of preparation each day.....

Usually 2 sims are asked.... 1) ACL (very simple) nothing just memorise the commands and read carefully the host whch is been allowed acces to server... They usually the hosts... so you need only to add the host being allowed, into the access-list command and rest are denied.... Once done... just login to the hosts whch are not allowed access and type the serrver ip address to verify whether the access-list is proper or not... It should not allow access...

And 2nd simulations if that of VLAn.. but for that you should be thru with the VLAN commands.... sh vlan, sh vtp status, sh mac-address table, sh spaaning-tree, sh run, sh cdp nei, sh cdp nei detail are the commands used for the VTP Sims..... It is simple if u r thru with the above commands or else my opnion is that if you have pass the exam then just leave it.......

And regarding ACL & VTP Sims pdf file, you can get it from CCNA Shares Forum.... Even i downloaded it from there..,
